Use Case
Garage and Shop Electrical — Subpanels and 240V Tools
A garage or detached shop needs its own electrical strategy: enough capacity for whatever 240V tools you run, lighting that actually works for what you do, and outlets where you actually need them. We do subpanels, welder receptacles, EV chargers in garages, and full shop wiring.
Sizing the subpanel
A 60-amp subpanel covers basic outlets and lighting; 100-amp handles a welder, compressor, EV charger, and shop tools simultaneously. We size based on what you actually run.
Welder and 240V circuits
50-amp NEMA 6-50 for a welder, dedicated 240V for a compressor or table saw, and proper grounding throughout. We will not pretend a 120V outlet can do the job.
Lighting and outlets
Even, glare-free LED shop lighting on multiple switches. Outlets every 4-6 feet on the workbench. GFCI where code requires.
